Dimensions Setbacks Building
Envelope Easement Settings Width : The width of the easment. Validate Input:
Clicking this button will check all input for valid values. Any
invalid values will be flagged and the user will be prompted to change
them. Clicking this button will also enable the OK
button OK: Click this button to save the changes
to this Unit Type.
Unit Type
Name:
Enter a unique identifier for this Unit Type. Changing this value will create a new Unit Type.
Leaving this value unchanged will
overwrite the existing Unit
Type.
Unit
Description:Description of this Unit Type
Width: Nominal Width of
this Unit Type. This is the width that controls how Units are
drawn. This width will be maintained at the critical position
(see Create Lot Lines for further
explanation)
Minimum
Area: The nominal area of the Unit. When units are drawn,
if the Width and Depth are not sufficient to create the Minimum area, the
width will be adjusted until Minimum Area requirements are
met.
Depth: This is the nomimal depth of the unit
(Minumum Area / Width)
Front: Front
Setback as measured from front property line.
Standard
Side: Side Setback as measured from side property
line.
Corner Side: Total width of Corner Setback for
lots that front on two streets.
Rear: Rear Setback as
measured from the rear property line.
Width: This is usually the Unit Width - 2 * Standard Side
Setback.
Depth: The depth of the house as
measured from the front setback. This dimension added to the front
setback is the depth at which Unit width is calculated to determine the .
critical position (see Create Lot
Lines for further explanation
Easement
Separation: A distance in feet between each easement.
Adjust Lot Width for Easement : Check this box if the
width of the lot should be adjusted to allow for intrusion of the easement
into the buildable area of the lot.
Lot Width
Adjustment: The distance in feet that needs
to be added to those lots on which easements fall to adjust for any
intrusion of the easement into the buildable area of the
lots.
