Edit/Customize Lots- Update Lot |
There may
be times when some of the lots created by Land Planner Suite will not be in the
exact configuration
needed. The polyline outline of those lots may
need to be edited using the standard Autocad
commmands. Land Planner
Suite includes a function that will update the lot area and setback for
those lots whose outline has been
edited.
When executed, the function will prompt the user to
select those lots to be updated. Any valid
Autocad selection method can
be used. (If the any lots are 'gripped', those lots will be
updated
when the command is executed.) The user should select the lot
outline (the polyline will be on
the
Lot Outline layer as set in the Layer
Manager ).
If vertices are added or removed from the lot
outline, the user will be prompted for the new
setback data for all vertices of the outline. (see below
for more information)

Vertex removal/addition
If the edits to the lot outline changed the number of
vertices, Land Planner Suite must re-assign the
setback information for the
lot outline.
At each vertex of the lot polyline, the user will be
asked to enter the setback type for the
line indicated by the
arrow

The allowable inputs are F,S,C,R (indicating
Front, standard Side, Corner
side, and Rear, respectively)
(The distance values
corresponding to these types are set in the Unit
Manager). After the type data
is entered at each vertex, the
function will draw the setback line. Should the user not wish to
draw
the setback line, hitting ESC or
CTRL-C will cancel the command.
