Define Tract by Polyline(s) |
With this function, the user can create a Tract by
selection polylines and/or regions on the screen.
When the command is started, the
user will be asked to Select Tract Boundary(ies). User can
select one or multiple polyline(s) and/or region(s).
If multiple polylines and/or regions are selected,
the
number will be reflected by the Units value in any
Land Use Summary.When the selection is finished,
a new dialog box will
appear and the user will be asked to select the Tract Type to apply to the new
Tract.
After selecting the Tract Type, the
user will be prompted to Enter Tract Name.
This will be the
unique identifier for the new Tract.
Upon
entering a vaid name and hitting OK, the new Tract will be added to the
Currently Defined Tracts list and
will be included in any Land Use Summary that is
displayed.
This function is identical to the Define Tract by
Polylines/Regions function accessible from
the Tract Manager dialog
box.
